A buffalo nicknamed 'Special Ed' grazes on the plains south of Cheyenne at the Terry Bison Ranch Thursday afternoon. The American bison, also commonly known as the American buffalo, appear slow because of their lethargic movements but can easily outrun humans and have been observed running as fast as 35-40mph.
