Midwest Choppers

Despite having the chance to go to the College National Finals Rodeo this week, this was by far my best assignment. No joke, I thought the tractors were sexy. There is a certain zeal and appeal of those beastly machines. Like Kevin Clinebell of Loveland, Colo. asked me, what do I own now that I will have in another 60 years. Probably not much. Not even my teeth (though my parents paid for those, so they technically own them).
In addition to being a fantastic assignment, I learned a great deal about tractors. Well, not really too much about the tractors, but about the enthusiasts who keep them up and running years after their time. And that’s not even a fair statement. Their time obviously has not ended.
Even if you’re not a tractor enthusiast, you must appreciate the good natured puns affixed to every garment they wear. Classic.
Overall, it was a good time with genuinely good people.

Aaron,
Thank you for putting the Tractor’s on your website. We appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness, and wonderful write-up you gave us on the antique tractors. We the tractor members are touched by the coverage you gave us. You are very good at what you do. Your boss should be very proud of your work.
Your brother Justin is a friend of our grandson, Zachary Killion.
Would it be possible to have the Midwest Choppers Link put on a CD? I will pay if it can be done
Thanks,

Aaron,
On behalf of the Centennial Antique Tractor and Engine Club, thank you so much for your coverage of our most recent first annual tractor ride. Your photographs were awesome and reflected the hard work many of our members have put in their tractors. We all had an awesome time.
As Danna stated, your boss should be proud of the work you did. Hopefully we’ll see you again next year.
Thank you again,
Elaine Hart, member
