Flash mob to raise funds for CASA of Laramie County

What: Court-Appointed Special Advocates of Laramie County has planned a flash mob to raise funds for the organization.

Cost: $20 to participate

More information: CASA of Laramie County is a private nonprofit organization that trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.

A flash mob is a spontaneous public performance that appears suddenly with one person, grows to several people and then quickly disappears. The purpose is to create joy and surprise and make participants feel as if they were part of something special.

Proceeds from the flash mob will be used for the general operation of CASA of Laramie County.

To participate, call the CASA office by Friday, Aug. 16.
