LARAMIE COUNTY LIBRARY Reschedules two events ….

The snow created havoc, but two library events have been rescheduled Information courtesy of the Laramie County Library

The events and new dates are:

  • RESUME BASICS & INTERVIEWING SKILLS FOR JOB SEEKERS — Wednesday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m.: It’s a challenging time on the employment front, and the library wants to help you succeed in today’s job market. With this session, learn the ins and outs of making the resume that employers will actually read, as well as to how to put your best foot forward once you get a job interview.  This series is presented by the Cheyenne Workforce Center. (Originally scheduled for Oct. 28)
  • STORIES OF THE HUNT — Thursday, Nov. 12, 7 p.m.: As part of the “Art of the Hunt” exhibition, we’re proud to feature historian/folklorist Jim Garry, who will present oral histories of hunters, and how these stories are vital to Wyoming’s hunting culture. A perfect program for hunters and their families! Presented with the Wyoming Arts Council Folk & Traditional Arts Program. (Originally scheduled for Oct. 29)
